1977 Honda CB750 Four

Well here we are some photos of the CB750 at about 95% complete. I have had a chance to ride it a bit but there are a few things I need to do before it is finished. The bike saw a complete tear down and some minor modifications over the last "couple" (too many) months. The frame has been shortened a bit in the rear, rear-set mounts, and some reworking of the foot controls. The instrument area has also been reworked with a brushed panel and halogen headlamp, not sure on what I want to run for gauges so for now there are none. The tail section, seat, side/front panel and misc I made here in the shop. I replaced all the seals, the head gasket, and the clutch in the engine before treating it to a nice paint and polish. This could keep going about building etc but how does it work?? Well like I said, I have only been able to ride it a bit. And I would have to say it is a nice bike to ride, a little more tuning with the carbs and we should be able to get it running better in the mid-range. It has an aggressive café seating position so I would not recommend a cross country trip but it does feel at home within the turns of lovely Minneapolis. I hope you all enjoy the photos and if you're interested this bike is for sale .more info on that soon.

This started as a 1977 Honda CB750
as they all do...I have shortened the frame about 4 inches and fitted a custom
seat section. Fabbed up a side panel cover, some rear peg mounts, and saddle
bag mounts for the long haul. Soon to be finished with a set of clip-ons with
a std bar option if a long trip comes up. Fresh skins and paint top out the
build...soon the badfish will swim....
More pics coming soon
